CIMS Certification
Our commitment to excellence has aligned us with ISSA, the leading resource for the building service industry, and their Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). York Building Services is currently a candidate for this certification, with expectations of completing the requirements and third-party assessment with honors by spring of 2012.
CIMS is a management framework designed to assist building service contractors and in-house service providers develop quality, customer-centered organizations and is based on universally-accepted principles that have proven to be the hallmarks of well-managed, successful cleaning operations. The CIMS certification requirements are now our blueprint for the continual development of our company as a customer-centered, quality organization. The five (5) facets of the certification are: Quality System; Service Delivery; Human Resources; Health, Safety and Environmental Stewardship; and Management Commitment.
